Chihuly at Biltmore

I know what you are thinking – “What does Chihuly have to do with Whole30?” Well, the answer is nothing. Except that this was the first time that I ate somewhere other than Zoe’s Kitchen for this Whole30. Plus, let’s be honest, Chihuly is amazing!

G and I had the opportunity of a lifetime to be able to go to Biltmore and see the Chihuly exhibition. We ended up going up to Asheville earlier in the day and we took a little picnic for lunch. Y’all, I had the brilliant idea to warm up chicken in the microwave right before we left and then wrap it really well in aluminum foil. It worked! The chicken stayed warm-ish for about 3 hours.

I posted a few images from the Biltmore on our Instagram and Facebook, but I couldn’t figure out which were my favorites so I’ve put together a little slideshow to exhibit some more. If you ever have the opportunity in your area to see one of Chihuly’s exhibits, I would highly recommend it!

I would also recommend visiting the Biltmore’s Stable Cafe for eating, especially if you are doing a Whole30 or have any other dietary restrictions. They were phenomenal on helping to give options for a meal!
